Hi, everyone! I grew up in Michigan, and I went to college at Western Michigan University (English majors unite!). Somewhere along the way, I picked up a Master's in Library Science and another Master's in Children's Literature. I finished my PhD in 2020.

I've been writing for as long as I can remember (expect for this phase I went through in high school where I just sort of quit), and I write YA, NA, and nonfiction. 

My first novel, THE SECRET OF ISOBEL KEY, is a NA contemporary mystery with historical flashbacks, and it was published by Bloomsbury Spark in 2013. The sequel, HER SECRET INHERITANCE, is out, too. 

I'm also the author of DAUGHTER OF CHAOS, the first in a YA fantasy trilogy, which you can read here on Wattpad (or wherever eBooks are sold).
