          If you like the still very popular and hot Netflix show "Bridgerton" I'd say run not walk to add "Wagered to the Duke" A Victorian Romance to your TBR of Currently Reading list! 
          It's got the Ton, a devilishly handsome rich, powerful Duke with a notorious playboy reputation in London who you'd think cannot be tamed....until he encounters a young spirited woman and well, you'll have to read it to find out heh heh. 
          It's got parental disapproval towards a union, cat fight level drama between the ladies vying for the Duke's attention, and a sweet blossoming romance between the Duke and someone that no one thought he'd end up with. I also particularly enjoy the clashing personalities between the calm cool and collected always in control Duke and his two gentleman best friends who are the opposite. 
          It's ongoing but we are on the brink of seeing some true heat between the Duke and his lady and then she added a whole other layer of unexpected story line which again you'll have to read and find out. 
          
          I'll tell you I personally watched Bridgerton Season 1 and exited stage left because the whole Ton and Diamond of the Season thing was not my cup of tea and yet I have really enjoyed @Jasminethe1st Duke and Lady story. So I think you will too. 
          
          Check out the link, read the synopsis and then venture to read even the first chapter. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Happy 2026 my little corner of Wattpad! 
          Hope everyone is off to a creative start where the words are flowing, imagination is vibrating (I know, not a word lol) and the ideas that you can't wait to get started on are popping up like dandelions! 
          
          I have been making a little writing goal for myself everyday to ensure I am holding myself to my promise to post 2 chapters of my 2 ongoing stories monthly. I am working 8 days straight 3 days of which were Inventory (iykyk if not it's a lot of physical labor and waking up at 3 am he he) but having a goal of what scene to write up to is keeping me motivated and feeling good so for those in a similar situation, try it, little goals are EVERYTHING!  
          
          That's my "TED" Talk for the day!
