Chapter 1 of my new fic posted on ao3! Please check it out and show it some love! :)
Title: Pepromeno
Setting: Ancient Greece
Alternate Universe: Omegaverse
Pairing: Harry Styles/Louis Tomlinson
https://archiveofourown.org/works/40624437
Snippet:
“You have an intriguing mind, eirineftís,” the general remarked after the long stretch of silence had extended past being considered polite. His gentle voice stirred Louis from his near state of slumber, belatedly he realised he had been falling asleep against the general. “You preach of peace, yet your father sends you to learn the ways of war.”
Had he the time, Louis would have drowned in shame for the thoughts muddling within his head; of the warmth he so readily had leaned into, of the impulses he had nearly surrendered to. But, evidently he had no time, he needed to defend his ideologies.
“Learning does not guarantee implying. I’m learning to not tarnish my father’s glory, and gaining a skill never hurt anyone.”

Beginning the Pride month with a pirate au! 'Cause why not?
Title: Tide's Deathless Death
Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/39369951
Words: 4350
Summary: The Red Serpent gleamed in all of her marvellous glory from where she was anchored a meagre few miles away from the land. Her flag waving proudly in the afternoon sun. The image was certainly memorable, of the flag, that is; a serpent coiled viciously around a human heart, fangs sunken into the organ and blood oozing from the very spot. If not for the ship herself, the flag had its own repute of conveying the message that the captain was not to be trifled with.
There was no single man who had survived after taking up arms against the captain. Well, there was one man, but including him amongst the hoard of common faces would be a foolishness on the feared-by-all captain’s part.
That man currently stood silently staring after the captain, palm curled around the handle of his blade, and teeth clenched in anger. He was certainly going to relieve all the navies of their plight by taking down the captain. At least then, in his relatively newfound life of piracy, he would have done one good deed.
