I have been living in Oklahoma all my life and have been writing for most of it. I have written songs, short stories, scripts for film and for stage among my other hobbies. I get my influence from old school western novels, coming of age novels, adventure novels, horror novels, music and film. I listen to a lot of instrumental soundtrack music while I write to help me get in the right mood for what I want to write.
I have an associate degree in Art with a focus in Filmmaking and History. I have my bachelor's degree in History with a focus in American Old West History and minor in Social Sciences as well as a Certification in Event Management.
