It was supposed to be sooner but my daughter has tested positive for COVID and writing about drama and action is much harder when there's action and drama going on at home! Okay, and now the first chapter of Poker Face is up too. This novel was my first love and I couldn't stop writing it. The characters jumped off the page at me and demanded their stories be told. It was the best writing experience of my life with launches, Waterstones signings and events, so I'm really happy to be sharing it with everyone here and I hope you like it too. I'll post at least one chapter a week because I'm editing as I go. That's the plan anyway! Happy reading and have a very lovely day!

The prologue has FINALLY gone up for Poker Face! Only been trying to do it since the weekend! Hope you like it. I plan to try and edit as I go and get the story up at a chapter a week. The final part of Pauline Chapman's Diary has gone up! It's doing pretty well so far in terms of reads and votes. It's early days but it's been great sharing my work again. This one was a tough one to write despite being short at about 5,000 words, but it earned me a distinction in my Masters dissertation and it deals with issues that are very close to my heart. I'm exploring what are often unheard voices here and I hope it provokes some degree of thought and feeling. Please let me know what you think, it's great to hear from people, and share if you think it's a story that needs sharing.
