I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and as it usually happens when you are the son of immigrants, two cultures accompanied my development. 
 An interesting mix  accompanied my childhood as well as the books in my father's library, much of my adolescence I lived perched on the mango bush in the garden of the house with a book in my hands.
 Passionate about literature since I was young, I decided to study a conventional career that met expectations.
When I finished my degree I moved to London in order to perfect my English. I worked teaching Spanish and took refuge again between pages and stories, I developed a frenetic passion for poetry and the need to express my anxieties and desires of that stage in the form of verses. I also wrote numerous short stories of crime novels inspired by the alleys and eternal drizzle of London. 

Later I moved to Spain to continue my academic training and add a specialization to my professional skills
. Between Galicia and Madrid, the university environment and the stone houses of my grandparents (who returned to their homeland after 40 years), the mountains and the aromas of the stoves of my childhood I began the research and essays that would be the basis of my first novel, Miña Nena, a story of European emigration in the post-war period.

 Pregnant with my first daughter, I returned to Venezuela in 2011 longing for my memories and the people who are part of them.  Two events influenced the reappearance of writing: the birth of my second daughter surprised us with a third chromosome that apparently conditioned her existence and that of ours, and the political and social events of the country: social outbursts, the appearance of beggars, hunger, changes in the everyday, in the known, more and more friends embarking their dreams to other lands,   a kind of generational déjà vu that led me to take up the project of the times that we had to go through as a family legacy, "Tiempo de despedidas"
