I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant and Vietnam Veteran. I am also a licensed Private Detective and have been for almost 25-years.
I am the author of six novels with “Lobison”, my werewolf book, being my latest release. When I first began developing the Lobison manuscript, I wanted to stay away from the normal werewolf film and book themes…the protagonist gets bitten by a werewolf and becomes one himself…he fears the full moon…he fears he will harm his love interest…only a silver bullet can kill a werewolf.
I saw a movie starring pro wrestler John Cena called “The Marine”. In the film his character’s wife is kidnapped by murderous thieves. He hunts them down relentlessly to retrieve his wife. This gave me the inspiration for Lobison…the sole survivor of his platoon of Marines that is massacred by a pack of werewolves. He spends the next 28-years in a relentless hunt for the pack, and along the way discovers the gigantic werewolves he is hunting are the most dangerous beasts on the planet! And these are NOT your “Twilight”-type werewolves. Lobisons are huge, blood-thirsty biped werewolves that kill not only to survive but to preserve the Lobison bloodline that is nearing extinction.
I thought the manuscript story was strong enough to adapt a film screenplay, which I did. I entered the screenplay with the same title into numerous screenplay festivals around the world in 2011 and 2012. It won four screenplay festivals and was a finalist in five others.
Lobison is a trilogy…there will be two sequels; each beginning where the previous ended. The first sequel is entitled: “Lobison II - The Mating” and is near completion.
