When the chapter of How The Beat Was Won ends and that after everyone congratulates the gang, Lincoln will dejectedly admit that the reason he was so competitive was because he was determined to win something like his sisters did and that this stupid attempt nearly ruined my friendship with the gang. And as he sheds tears, he’ll wish that he never acted like a jerk and never been so competitive and That he never wanted his friendship with anyone to be ruined before breaking down crying out of guilt and regret.
