Joni Keamoai is a Native Hawaiian author from the island of Kauaʻi-a songwriter, playwright, poet, and storyteller at heart.

Her writing journey began with Kamaile, her first story on Wattpad, which grew from a song she composed of the same name. That melody became a promise-to finish the story that first inspired it.

Since then, she has expanded her world of storytelling with three additional works: F4 Hawaiʻi, a local twist on the beloved F4 / Boys Over Flowers series; Être Comme Le Feu (Be Like Fire), a teen romance set along the cliffs of Portofino; and The Queen's Run, a fictional short story honoring the final days of the Hawaiian Kingdom and Hawaiʻi's last reigning queen, Liliʻuokalani.

Her latest story, Falling Into You, is a college and workplace romance about two young people from different worlds who find comfort in one another-even as their lives unfold in beautiful, chaotic ways.
