I find it amusing that I originally hated writing. When I was in 4th grade I absolutely despised the monthly writing assignments we'd get. I did, however, love coming up with stories. I really wanted to make movies, but most 4th graders don't have access to the same resources as Spielberg, so I had to find another way to record and share my ideas. For a few years I was drawing comics, but although I'm an artist, I despise having to draw the same stuff over and over again. Try it sometime. You'll see.

I decided to try writing again, and by the time I was in high school, not only did I enjoy it but I wasn't too bad at it, either. Now that I'm in college, I've been able to explore and excel in my writing skill to the point where I feel pretty freaking amazing. I am not very humble, either.

Usually I like to write fiction, but I've decided to call myself a poet, as well. One high school English teacher described my poetry as Dr. Seuss meets Steven King; for the most part, all my poetry before college was weird and eccentric and ripe with boyish attitude. In college, I started writing some serious poetry for a Creative Writing class and got some of it published in the college literary magazine. Since one of them one the 2nd place written award, I guess that means I'm good at it, now.

Currently I'm working on a book series that I hope to have published. They started the summer after I graduated high school as a 20-page short story for a couple friends, but then evolved into a trilogy of short stories totaling over 100 pages overall and then a 45-page "sequel" that will eventually be added to to create a second trilogy. They're all about Immortals (mostly vampires, but also demon-hunters, lycans, warlocks, some fairies, a very slutty sorceress, etc.) that try to live unnoticed in the modern mortal world. Maybe some of that will end up on here.
