Admin: So apparently some people think Angrboda is the mother of Fenrir's children... D-do they not know Jotuns can reproduce asexually? I'm scared...

JotunheimSorceress

@mischiefsbrother- Admin: Still, Angrboda is technically dead at that point in the myths, so she couldn't possibly be their mother.

Hello sweet little witch of the Iron Wood.

JotunheimSorceress

@Loki-the-Trickster "Of course I do, I don't see you often enough. It's especially nice since I can give you some insight into where our sons may be right now. I'm trying to track their whereabouts."

“Ooh my welcoming committee is rather short on the ground.” Looking pleased with himself he shrugged, offered a smile and walked on through, passing her as she stood there. “You do love these visits.”

“Ahh, you are expecting!” Loki grinned, unsurprised considering how much sexual congress had taken place. She was a very passionate woman regardless of her intimidating stance and well, she'd been quite the enthusiastic lover. Besides, Mimir had let something of a vague notion slip a few months ago when Loki paid him a visit. It was all riddles though, much like the Norns loved to spew. None wanted to be succinct, Skuld had flat out glared at his audacity to inquire about his future and Urd simply laughed. “I suspect Odin gave his right eye purely to see what will become of our child. Be he or her, big and fearsome with intellect to challenge the mighty All-Father’s outdated notions.”

JotunheimSorceress

@Loki-the-Trickster "So glad we agree. After all, I lead an entire clan despite being a woman, so it really wouldn't matter who will inherit that responsibility. Though, given our kind's rather strange biology, well normal for us, strange to everyone else, I do wonder if the child will even be humanoid. Not that it matters to me, they'll still be remarkably intelligent, not a mindless beast. I just hope they have your eyes." She said, humming softly to herself, as I'd soothing the unborn child. She had never experienced something like this, to have such love for someone that she hadn't even seen or met.

"And you'll stay, won't you? You want to take care of this child as much as I do? I never thought I could have something like this. Someone who cares about me this much... I don't think I could live without you, Loki."

“—Honestly? It bothers me very little, Odin, a boy or a girl.” He shrugged, because the idea was brilliant too. He longed for children, after all, there was a prophecy. “I suppose as long as the babe thrives, that is what remains important. A future heir regardless of gender.” He watched as her hand was laid upon her belly, palm flat and rubbing tenderly. As if she truly cherished what they had created together. A sign of their union. He cringed at the implication, knowing what she was getting at. It hadn’t been that long since Sleipnir, a few hundred years was nothing when he considered how he had birthed his son completely and utterly alone in a fucking meadow. Stunned.

@Loki-the-Trickster The sorceress smiled back at him, absentmindedly resting her hand on her stomach. "I'm just glad you seem as pleased by the news as I am. Hard to believe it's been a year with you." She had been rather worried he would be displeased by the news considering the experience he went through with his first born child, the horse. "If it was truly for that reason, he's a bigger fool than I ever thought. I do wonder what our child will be like. Would you prefer a boy or a girl? At least we know they'll be well protected with the clan. Perhaps they will even have siblings one day."

@Loki-the-Trickster Admin: Yeah, it's actually interesting how much impact Angrboda has on the myths for really only appearing in two myths.

@trickstergcd "Loki, you /let/ them take our children away. You let them force two of our children into Asgard, you let them chain Fenrir and then you let them banish Hel! Did you even ask for my life to be spared when I was sentenced to death? What crime did I even commit?"

loki loathed going to jotunheim , ironic considering he still went ( infrequently but still ). it wasn’t the giants there or the temperature that caused his displeasure. even here he managed to be out of place and not belong. too foreign for the asgardians , too small for the giants , really , there had only ever been one person he felt just right for. at least currently. loki was one for gestures but romantically they got pushed aside for his own agenda. in moments of clarity , he could see what he desired crystal clear. “ angrboda , spare a moment ? “

JotunheimSorceress

@trickstergcd The redhead sorceress turned from her ritual. "Come in, come in. You know you're always welcome here. What is it this time? I do hope my guards weren't too agresssive to you. Some of them are a bit.... over zealous." She said, pausing to finish her ritual. She had been experimenting with finding a way to contact their sons as she hadn't seen him in so long. She was happy to see him again, she had certainly missed him. Loki held a very special place in her heart, more than any of her other loves ever had or would. Seeing him come to her home again reminded her of how true that really was. Angrboda hated the fact that he went back to Asgard after the kidnapping of their children, and she still hadn't quite forgiven him for that, but she was willing to put it aside for now.
