@JuliaAllison6 the ‘what does friend mean to you a word so wrongly abused’ and ‘never gonna fuck with me again’ really makes me think it was about her. She had known him for years and she said awful stuff about the last time that she saw him and how he looked in another book. Friend. Pfft.

@LikeABrunette no..a girl called  who really screwed him over around the time the song was written. She led him on and made him think that she liked him. Only for him to to turn up at her party and she was with her ex (even worse a musician he knew so really rubbed his nose in it) he had given her a letter telling her how much he liked her and she humiliated him. She then turned up at his flat to pick some things she had left there and decided to lecture him about drugs. He shut the door in her face. It’s in the DeSola book x
