I like the books Percy Jackson (Rick Riordan), Inheritance Games (Jennifer Lynn Barnes), Books of Bayern (Shannon Hale), Story Thieves (James Riley), Narnia (C.S. Lewis), and How to Train Your Dragon (Cressida Cowell).
The series that got me into reading was Half Upon a Time by James Riley (I was 6ish years old).
I am currently reading Sword in the Stone (I don't remember the author), Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien), The Five Kingdoms (Brandon Mull), and hopefully am about to start Heroes of Olympus (Rick Riordan)
I mostly write fanfiction and short stories, but I also have a book that just has funny quotes assigned to fictitious characters.
