"It doesn't come down to powerful heroes to make the world what it should be, it comes down to everyone with something at stake. And everyone has something at stake."
Hi, I'm Addy. I LOVE Wings of Fire and Keeper of the Lost Cities. I have a very erratic updating schedule, so you probably shouldn't rely on my updates.
My favorite Wings of Fire book is Darkstalker. I also like Darkness of Dragons, Dragonslayer, and The Dangerous Gift. (Even if I yell at Snowfall in my head for the first half of the book)
My favorite Keeper of the Lost Cities books are Neverseen, Nightfall and the guide part of Unlocked (not the story).
Random thing: I've read so many writing guides on here I'm considering making one myself. Would you guys read it?
On book 15 in WoF (I've been sulking about this and I need to say it):
In my opinion, The Flames of Hope was mostly info-dumping and backstory. According to my math, it was 15% backstory that I think could've been dropped. Tui was trying to explain the Scorching, but I would have preferred a separate book on the Scorching.
I really liked the evil plant thing. Did Tui have to ruin it for us?
Random fact: I realized that all the different fandoms use the same incorrect quote generator.
A message: You hate characters that are too perfect, yet make mile long lists of characters' faults ending with "this is why so-and-so is a bad character." If, instead, you say "Tsunami isn't a hero" or "Keefe is a bad role model," I can better see what you mean, even if I don't agree. Faults don't make someone a bad character, they make them realistic. A character can be rude and reckless if it makes sense for their personality. It might be bad for a character to never apologize, but it's also a trait that makes them unique. Bad people aren't necessarily bad characters. And: Good people aren't necessarily good characters. Let characters have flaws! No one is perfect!
My Wattpad profile keeps messing up my pronouns for some reason, so here they are: she/her.

Chapter 12 of Forgotten is out. This one is from Linh's perspective, AKA my favorite Hydrokinetic in the whole series. (Okay, she's the only Hydrokinetic we know of, but she's still my favorite.)
