I have also seen horrors beyond my comprehension in multiple books. If you want recommendations for books that will give you everlasting trauma, then read How Cliche or Normal and Abnormal. They have shown me new heights of what we call trauma. (they're really good tho in every aspect, like the romance? Character development? Ugh so good)
