You're probably here because of one of my crazy comments. And now while I have your attention:
Sméagol is severely misunderstood. He is perhaps one of the most poetically written characters and is, I believe, the best character in LotR. I'm tired of the Sméagol slander. If you examine the uncanny parallels between Sméagol's character and Frodo's, you will realize they have a strikingly similar background. I believe Sméagol is representative of what can happen to an individual who is not afforded a higher socioeconomic status nor given proper social support. It's time to rethink your favorite LotR characters, kids.
When I am not defending Tolkien's less popular characters (yes, I am also a strong supporter of Tom Bombadil as well), I am working on my PhD in school psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology. I also really enjoy traveling, but unfortunately my bank account doesn't seem to support my hobby.
I am a lover of gardening, all things plant-based, memes, and taking naps while listening to Alexa's thunderstorm noises. My first wattpad story I fell in love with was I Sold Myself to the Devil for Vinyls... Pitiful, I Know. Crazy to think I read it for the first time almost nine years ago! It's still one of my favorite literary works and I could probably quote you the entire book from memory with how often I've read it. But luckily for both of us, I don't have to do that since it's available on this app! Anyway, fellow terrestrials, it's time for you leave this boring account and bio and go back to reading some beautiful works. I wish you the best, and I hope I've swayed your opinion on Sméagol in these past few paragraphs.
Spread love, always. 🌿✨
