When I finished my novel, I cut the first fifty pages.  Then I added them back because, well, it's 'hard to kill your darlings'.  I've moved them to draft status, and hope you still enjoy the story.  If you feel you can't follow what's happening from new beginning point, please let me know.  Editing is endless:)

            I apologize for not offering more criticism on Adrift.  I read the entire book, and really enjoyed it.  Next time I'm in a grouping with you I will be more intentional about choosing to comment on chapters where I feel I can offer more constructive feedback, as opposed to starting at the beginning of the story, like with the other authors whose work I haven't read:)
