These are a few of my favorite works:
'The Windup Bird Chronicle' by Haruki Muarakami, 'Never Let Me Go' by Kazuo Ishiguro, 'Neuromancer' & 'Pattern Recognition' by William Gibson, anything by Philip K. Dick, the 'Southern Reach Trilogy' by Jeff Vandermeer, all things Harry Potter, everything I've read by Adam Johnson, the short stories of Truman Capote, 'A Portrait of a Lady' by Henry James, and of course Neil Gaiman, starting with the Sandman series of graphic novels. There's more, but this list seems eclectic enough. If you love a writer I haven't mentioned, chances are I do too, but I'm rambling😉
