Speculative fiction is my go-to. As an individual with an "invisible disability", I like to feature protagonists with disabilities. If we as human beings are complex and have many layers, then so should the characters we read about. 

The stories I create will always feature heroes who don't quite "fit the mold." There will never be a magical "cure" or any changes to the very things that make them beautifully complex. 

Let's rattle the literary landscape. Diverse heroes aren't symbolic side characters here-they're front and center.
