Sooo crazy that the notification issue hasn’t been fixed yet and it’s been over a week. Even crazier that it’s hardly been addressed or known about to the majority of Wattpad users because staff hasn’t made it well known. I know people who have been feeling discouraged from continuing their stories because their read/comment/vote counts have substantially dropped, and they wouldn’t have known about it unless me or another author told them what’s going on.
It’s sad that this won’t even receive a response either. At least give users an update on social media (where it hasn’t even been talked about yet?!). If there’s a reason why it’s taking so long, we have no way of knowing why because staff hasn’t been transparent with us, so we’re just left to assume. Please do better. And this isn’t a targeted message to this particular staff member, because I’m sure this goes higher than them. But if you want more loyal users I suggest doing better.
