Kaiser grew up in a small rural town in the middle of the San Joaquin Valley in California. He has always been a storyteller, initially regaling his siblings with stories he invented while doing yard work. After telling this stories, he was always considerate enough to include a preview for the upcoming episode.

His favorite author growing up was Edgar Allen Poe whom he was obsessed with during his grade school years. Later, he found George Orwell and Kurt Vonnegut which matured his reading interests though none of them would have a real influence in his writing.

That happened when he discovered a love for Fantasy and Science Fiction. From JRR Tolkien, to Ursula Le Guin, Roger Zelazny, and Frank Herbert. His attention drifted more to these two genres and became entrenched in rich Sci-Fi late with William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, Kim Stanley Robinson et al. His favorite style of sci-fi is that which he considered to be plausible if temporally out of reach. He's also developed an affinity for near future Sci-Fi that feels just within a lifetime's grasp.

His influence from sci-fi is so heavy that he finds that even stories that never set out to have any kind of sci-fi aspect almost inevitably seems to include something if to a subtle degree. His hope is that some of his ideas may even one day elicit an Arthur C. Clarke effect in that somewhere, some child is so inspired by a vision of his that the child works to see a version of it become reality. But he'll settle for at least one person enjoying an incarnation of his imagination whatever that may be.
