Hey Guys! 
          
          Big News! I was accepted into the DCP (Disney College Program) and just moved into my new apartment. I will be working a LOT 50-60 hour work weeks and be doing a lot of classes here, so Updates will be very sporadic and I apologize ahead of time! 
          
          This is A REALLY BIG opportunity for me and I am taking it head-on. So far I leave in August, but we shall see!

I have writer's block! 
          
          Ps: Anyone else get writer's block and have three potential chapters until you figure out how to get the pacing and flow and figure out how to mash them all together?

I’ve been finding myself going through my WIPs on here and wanting to push some more out! (Mostly all Fanfic). But Embers is up! 

Alright: I'm just gonna try honesty at this point! 
          
          So the reason for the lack of updates is a few family factors combined. 
          
          The biggest reason is that my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in February this year. Despite only having gone through surgery and recovering in March, she and my step-dad decided to legally adopt my cousin's son as she legally lost custody. It was either adoption, or he went into foster care. When they asked our opinions, it was unanimous across the board, and I now have a 5-year-old brother. 
          
          As the most reliable of my siblings, I moved back home to help ease my mother's load of everyday life. With two dependents and a third on the way, I was the one who stepped up to help with the day-to-day load. 
          
          After being cleared to go back to work, she suffered from sepsis and was re-admitted to the hospital at the end of April. She has now made a full recovery and was told she would not have to receive further treatment and has been back at work for three weeks. 
          
          Lastly: I am moving to Florida in two weeks. I have made this decision for my own mental well-being. I am someone who always sacrifices for her family, and with the blessing of both my mom and step-dad, I will be trying to put a little bit of distance for a period of time until the habit of dependency is broken on both sides. 
          
          I will be busy finishing packing these next two weeks, but I want to start updating again before July! Wish me luck!

I’ve had one family emergency on top of another. This is why I haven’t updated Perfect World in a while. I will as soon as I can! Promise!! 

So I've decided to republish Perfect World. I fell out of connection for a while and have been going through a lot, but I still love the concept of the story and plan to give it another Go! Look forward to it!

Haaaaaaaaaaaa... I want to write a Halo Fanfic. 

I’m not a political person. I avoid it if I can. I WILL however speak out about the unjustice of the black community that has been shown today. 
          
          By not charging Derek M. Chauvin of murder, even MAN SLAUGHTER, we have regressed movements made by the black community by 50 years. 
          
          The sheer GALL to state that the evidence provided from two DIFFERENT sources and MULTIPLE eye witnesses was not enough to prove that the actions taken again George Floyd were enough to put that man behind bars in SICK. 
          
          Wither you be a cop or a civilian, murder is murder and you SHOULD face the same standards of law. Today has proven we don’t. Today has proven that people aren’t willing to step up and STEP OUT against present day racism. Today PROVED that people still consider black people as second rate Americans. 
          
          A legitimate fear of police is rising because we allow criminals in suits to go free and uncharged for heinous crimes. Police Brutality is REAL. Racism IS REAL. The difference is? We can record it now. We can provide proof of an abuse of power. 
          
          I’m not saying all Police Officers are bad, I PRAY most aren’t, but the ones we let walk without repercussions set a certain standard to others on how far they may also go without fear of the very law they’ve sworn to uphold. 
          
          Today has set us back 50 years, but I HOPE we will get that back.

A friend of mine on here, @SeIcouth (and a couple of other authors I know) have been targets of this horrendous CRIME. Plagiarism IS A CRIME. Sadly, this isn’t even the FIRST time it’s happened (And based off recent lights and speculation: Won’t be the last. More will be said on this as facts become more concrete.)
          
          @reckless in forks has NOT ONLY stolen parts of @SeIcouth ‘s profile (Bio, format, and LOCATION ) , BUT they have also taken many key character points from her story, Still in Bloom AND have copied WORD FOR WORD certain scenes (and the bio) from her story Failure to Pursue, changing the NAMES OF THE CHARACTERS ONLY. 
          
          So please if you know or follow @SeIcouth, report this and spread the word to as many people as you know!! Also did I mention the aforementioned stories have been published since BEFORE @Recklessinforks was EVEN A PROFILE?! (Seriously, they joined 5 months ago LOL).
