There’s a specific kind of quiet that only happens right before sunset, where the landscape looks less like a place and more like an old photograph fading out. It always makes me want to write characters who are completely lost, driving down a highway that doesn't show up on any modern map.
          
          Currently trying to capture that exact temperature on the page. Dirt, rust, and a little bit of cosmic dread. What kind of landscapes usually trigger your writing?
