A mom in a house with a computer and a writing obsession ....

Well, I'm more than that, but it sums me up. Mostly.

I like ocarinas. I have a collection. I do not play them at all well, but they're so pretty!

I also like cats. Usually we leave each other alone. Occasional contact occurs when food requirements are discussed, or if a sweater is under siege beneath a cat bottom and I happen to be freezing. Yes, I like cats a lot. If I can get the sweater back, it's always very warm.

As a writer, I like to mess with tropes and clichés, see if I can make them feel different or at least feel new again rather than same old same old. The Grace Murders is a series idea that I put on the computer screen during Nanowrimo 2012. It has the twins trope, specifically twins that are somehow cursed, twins that recur throughout history. It's a fun trope to play with. 

Caspar's Run is the first volume in the series. It is published on both Amazon, CreateSpace and Smashwords, but I am serializing it here. I hope you enjoy reading it and that you will support me as I continue the series. If you like the story, please purchase a copy. If all goes well, the plan is to start the next novel during the 2016 Nanowrimo season. 

Why wait until then? Well, I am a published author under another name too, and the series I have under that name also has upcoming novels, plus the current ones will be republished with new covers. It's a lot of work. I'm in indie author, and that means I do 90% of the work. I wish I had three of me to do it.  The other 10% of the work I credit to the artists of the new covers. :)
