Kas Sennings grew up as an isolated child. Being bullied from a young age left him with the impression that he was better of alone. Finding refuge in writing he had begun creating poetry by the 3rd grade. Dedicating poems to his mother and close friends he found his passion in engraving his emotions on paper. At the age of 15 he started performing slam poetry at the local bar. Creating As In The Rain or Sometimes was a soothing process for him. But bellow the surface his mind dealt with the constant turmoil of being here. Suicide was a very constant threat. Every day it would linger in his mind. Creating poetry was the life boat he clung on to dearly. Today he is 22 years old and has evolved from that quiet little boy to the man he is today. But with out a doubt poetry has always and for ever be his favorite companion.
