Reposting this from my reddit since I ain't getting any replies and hoping some people will be able to help me.
Hi I'm 16 years old and I'm Bisexual. I've been friends with my friend (let's call her Abby) So I meet Abby in my sophomore year (l got held back cause I was born during the cutoff for school) of high school while she was in her freshman year. We bonded over many things music, books, movies, etc. And just today she sent me a text asking for advice on coming out to her dad as a demigirl and a furry. (Demigirl: This nonbinary gender identity describes someone who partially identifies with being a girl, woman, or feminine.) I have been part of the lgbtq+ community for 1 would guess abt 4 1/2 yrs?? ldk but I feel really helpless because I want to help her out on coming out. Also she told me when she used to be a lesbian she came put but her father told her she was too young to understand what LGBTQ means, and her father said he wa mid abt her being a furry and that he knows abt LGBTQ but doesn't really feel good abt it.
Thank you for listening to my story and would be open to any advice cause I really want to help her as much as I can she's like a younger sister to me.
Response would much appreciated cause I told her I'd give her some advice but I'm kinda stuck rn
