I know it’s doubtful that anyone cares, but I have officially changed my major from Pharmacy to Literature and my heart is so full. I’ve loved reading and words all my life and I could feel that Pharmacy wasn’t where I needed to be. My future is going to be much more uncertain and I have people in my life that think I’ve lost my mind, but as my room mate said: adhering to the old road is tenacious, but following the new one is courageous. And dammit, I’m a Gryffindor, not a Hufflepuff.

I feel lighter already. I feel like I’m floating along a current, rather struggling against an opposing tide.

I wanted to document this amazing feeling somewhere and this felt like the best place. I’m incredibly excited to have time to polish and complete The Royal Blood this semester.

Hey, I wanted to message you about this personally but I don't think they have the option. It may just be me, but I think "guffawed" would give most people pause. I had to stop and look the word up myself. Don't get me wrong, your work is beautifully written so I'm not making any suggestions on it... but I thought you should know.

I've been getting criticisms, as of late for using a few choice words of my own. My mentor keeps telling me "the thesaurus isn't always you friend". Lol

Thank you for letting me know! I’m not sure where I even heard “guffawed,” it was just in some dusty corner of my brain, so it might be uncommon. and it’s sort of a clunky word as well. “Laughed merrily” would work just as well and flows better, lol. I really appreciate the feedback!
