Recently have been receiving requests to continue my adventure novel, Oren. Believe me, I’d love to. Unfortunately, since having my daughter in July, we have since found out that she has multiple medical concerns. Generally labeling her condition as Cerebral Palsy, there’s a lot that goes into her care, including a schedule full of follow ups with her care team. 
          
          Please know that I fully intend to continue with my writing and my novel, but that life has thrown me a curveball, and that I need to learn to balance this new part of my life before adding writing on top of it. Thank you to my readers who have stayed so dedicated, and I beg you not to give up on me just yet. 
          
          In the meantime, send positive vibes to my little Blake Ashley on her journey.

Hey. I just want you to know that im really enjoying oren right now, and i gotta say, your writing is excellent. Storyline is fire. Word use is fire. Character development is fire. And thank you a lot for following me by the way. Not sure why you would follow me, but thank you anyway. Thats my 2 cents, and just keep doin you. 

IM RETURNING....*whispers* finally. After a long break, I’m coming back to put in some hard work on Oren. I’ve missed my characters, I’ve missed writing, and I’ve missed interacting with you wonderful people. I’m beginning with some editing on some of the chapters already posted, and then hopefully will have a new schedule for updates! I can’t stress enough how difficult it’s been to work through this rut. But if I can do it, so can you. 
          
          Anyways, aside from this, I’ve received a promotion again in my workplace which has lead me to thinking about career changes, I’m currently in the process of buying a family home with my fiancé, and we found out that we are having a baby girl! 
          
          I hope everyone else has had a great few months and has made tons of progress, whether that be in your writing or your personal life. 
          
          But, back to my point... I have returned! CHEERS!

Here is the prologue to another story I’ve been working with in my time off from Oren. I’m hoping it does just as well as my first ongoing novel and helps me regain my motivation.

It’s been months since I updated friends, and it’s made me sick to face this lack of motivation. In October, I found out I’m expecting my first child with my wonderful fiancé! And I’d be lying if I didn’t say beginning to prepare for such an adventure has made my writing take a back seat. 
          
          For now, I’m officially putting Oren (my beautiful world and creation) on hold while I try out another writing venture. I think I just need a break and to establish a schedule for myself. 
          
          Keep a look out for the beginning chapters of another novel I have been working on while sparing myself the trials of writing Oren. I hope to return to my dream world soon, and thank you to everyone who has supported it thus far. 

Sorry again for the delay friends! Something BIG has happened in my personal life and has been on my mind and taking up time. I hope to be back to updating ASAP!
