Hey, the next chapter for The Odd Ones Out, “Kindred Flame”, is still in the works. However, I didn’t want to go too long without updating with something.

That said, I’ve published a short story which is essentially a “demo” for a concept I’ve been aching to write for a while. If you like vampires, then you’ll probably like “The Moth Prince”.

My endgame for this story is to take a large step away from the overtly romanticized iterations of the bloodsuckers and revitalize the creepy factor, while still keeping them cool. Cool? Cool.

Enjoy and feel free to leave some feedback!

How's it going, fellow Wattpader? I just wanna thank you for adding Ember Chasers to your reading list, and I really appreciate it! Hope you'll enjoy the reading experience! ♡

@KerrmmitCarl, agreed. I did that before, when I was redoing my previous story, and it was an entire cringe fest! >_<

@awesomeSTG Yeah! One neat trick I learned from someone is to go back and look over some of your older stories that you’ve written. If you can see how certain things could be different or written better, then that’s a clear sign of growth.

Still, be proud that it’s there. While it may not live up to your current standards, it’s still something that you sat down and actively wrote. Not to sound redundant, but take pride in your work!

@KerrmmitCarl, wow! Those sure are some motivating words. Thanks for inspiring me to do more. All of us still have a lot to learn, and I guess no one's writing is perfect, either. But, that's the bittersweet thing about writing, I guess. ^^

Well, it's been quite the busy day for me! I've published three chapters! In a week no less!

The original chapter I had been working on for months now ended up being over 3400 words, so I split it into two for the sake of pacing. The chapters are "Cause, Effect, and Side-Effects" and "Fair is Foul". I'm really proud of how they turned out.

Along with those two, I published an art chapter for TO3. The next chapter is already in the works and halfway through writing.

          Enjoy!

Just updated the cover to "The Odd Ones Out". I drew it up myself and put a lot of effort into it. Really proud of it and like how it turned out. Been meaning to change it for months and finally got around to it.

Debating on whether or not to release the next chapter. It's over 3000 words, which is the most out of my previous published chapters. It's still in draft form and not completely done. However, it may just be better to publish *something*, as opposed to nothing.

          We'll see.

Hiya!

Been a while. Keepin’ it short, I've just updated ”The Odd One's Out” with a short scene, for the sake of publishing something.

Next chapter will be out soon-ish. No promises on when exactly, but I am trying. My goal is to just write as much as I can for a first draft and not worry about editing or clarity until after. Being a perfectionist is a killer on writing. And procrastination. And classes. And my ”sleep schedule”.

That said, I'll be working on the next chapter!
