K.C. Hopkins was born in Decatur, Illinois. She graduated from Meridian High School and went on to get her Associates Psychology degree from Richland Community College. She then transferred to Millikin University to follow her career in psychology and sociology. She lives with her dog and two cats, plus her boyfriend of three years.
