I owe everyone here an explanation.
          
          If you have been reading my stories on Wattpad, you may have noticed that both of my novels, Double Exposure and Boots and Stilettos, are now gone from the platform. I did not walk away quietly. I did not disappear. I did not stop writing. The truth is much simpler, and at the same time a little disappointing.
          
          First, the good news. Both of my novels will be officially published and available for purchase on Amazon in just a few days. This is a huge milestone for me as a writer, because when I started posting here, I had no idea my stories would be read by so many people. Wattpad gave me a place to grow as a storyteller. It allowed me to connect with readers from around the world who laughed with me, cried with me, and sometimes yelled at me when a chapter ended on a cliffhanger. Many of you encouraged me to keep going when the work became hard. Your comments and support meant more than you will ever know. You pushed me forward to publishing. I truly thank you for that.
          
          Now, for the second reason I removed my books. This one hurts to say. I have run into several serious copyright violations. My books have been copied word for word and taken without permission. Entire chapters, and in some cases the full books, have shown up on other websites with someone else taking the credit. Imagine spending hundreds of hours pouring your heart into a story, only to discover someone stole it. No credit. No permission. No respect for authors or their work. That is exactly what happened. I filed takedown notices. I reported the sites. I did everything I could. Still, the problem kept happening.
          
          Wattpad was once a place that protected writers. It was a place where stories could grow safely. Sadly, I no longer feel that is true.

          So… I was going to play it cool, but nope, I can’t. My novel Boots and Stilettos just reached GOLD STATUS in the 30-Day Writing Challenge!           At 2:00 a.m., a legend binge-read my entire book, left what felt like 300 comments, and dropped killer suggestions.           I’m a pro photographer of 40+ years, so I shoot for a living and I write for fun. That little shift flipped a switch for me. No pressure, just pure storytelling joy. I’m having a blast, and I want you along for the ride.

Photographers have a dangerous habit. We hoard images. Some beg to become book covers. After 40+ years, my archive is a wild zoo. I dove back in, wrestled a few, and yes... I CHANGED THE COVER of Boots and Stilettos. Again. The story got bolder, so the art had to keep up.
          
          What you will see is the promise I make inside the pages. Sparks at sunset. Mud on heels. Boots that show up when it counts. A ranch worth saving. A banker deadline that bites. A quiet cowboy who notices everything. An heiress who chooses who she is.
          
          I reworked the image for warmth and grit, tuned the color, tightened the crop, and picked type that reads clean on mobile. It feels alive now, like motion before a storm.

          AS INFO....this is not my style of writing. I am doing it because a friend challenged me to do it.....and so far.....I have 17 chapters.
          
          As a reminder here's the criteria of the challenge. 1. Must be a romance. 2. Must be in Montana and the female character must be a rich heiress from Italy. 3. It must be "G" rated.
          
          I have NO IDEA if I have accomplished the goal. I have NO IDEA (sorta) where it's going. But....I'm on my way.
