Smol rant. Ok.. so in most x readers I see(THIS IS WHEN I WAS READING EDDSWORLD X READERS), the authors writes either WHITE skin or PALE skin. So, some authors assume that the reader is of that skin color? I really hope this post doesn't come out as racist, but NOT EVERYONE READING YOUR DAMN BOOK HAS WHITE SKIN, SO YOU SHOULD GIVE THEM THE OPTION TO CHOOSE HOW THEY LOOK. making them look a certain way makes it an OC X READER, and is the AUTHORS CHARACTER.
I brought this up because in an x reader it said "my name is y/n! I have pale skin, blue eyes, and brown hair. My favorite food is peparoni pizza, and favorite color is pink." Remember to NEVER do what these authors do. Always make sure to give your readers the option to choose how they wish to look in the story, and not how YOU want them to look.
