I am here to try and attempt on assisting you with your gif problems!
Are you trying to post gifs on mobile or some sort of PC?
If you are using mobile then here is a link with a video demonstration to help you

But if your using a PC or laptop like me then you go to the website giphy.com and find a gif. Click on a gif then I click on 'copy link' which should be on the right (next to your gif). Then it should show you different types 'links' to copy, copy the one that says 'GIF Link'.
