Well, found out my daughter's dad has shingles and an infection. Thankfully, it's not causing anything huge. Slight swelling and red patches with scabbing. Worst placement is over his eye. No strain on the eye itself thankfully as well. The only thing that's bothering him is the slight itchiness. Medication is helping him tremendously. Also found out Vaseline works the same as Neosporin for half the cost. Never getting Neosporin again after seeing the results.
Just got home from being in the ER for 8 hrs. I hate going to the ER, it's just as bad if not worse than going to the DMV.
@KymNoyes I wasn't there for me (this time) thankfully. I helped with the driving bc my daughter's dad couldn't see with his right eye. It was completely swollen and puffy. It looked like he could have been in a fist fight. He wasn't though. He tried to avoid the ER first by going to the eye doctor but they sent him there anyway.
On my way to pick up a new addition to my family. The fur baby kind. So excited.
Went as a chaperone with my daughter's class on their field trip to Corning Digital Dome and Observatory. It was amazing. Learned so many things about galaxies, novas, star clusters and more. Plus, we learned about the telescope there that was originally built to track the Hale Telescope in California as well as teach students how to use it before it was fashioned into a usable research tool.
If anyone is in the Corning area of NY to visit or are local, I highly recommend going to check it out. They have shows for the general public to see. Just look up Corning Digital Dome online and you'll find the main page with prices and times for shows and special events.
Also, if anyone is interested in doing school projects, just call and make an appointment to be able to have people help you.
Additionally, the area has gorgeous scenery.

It was sooo good, I'm never making this anyway other than this way ever again. My daughter even agrees that it was top GOD tier.
