Hi,I hope you're doing well! I've recently had the pleasure of reading your book, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed by your work. Your writing style, the way you've woven the narrative together, and the insights you've shared have all left a lasting impact on me. I'd love to discuss your book further and explore potential ways we could collaborate or learn from each other. Your perspective and expertise would be invaluable to me, and I'm excited about the possibility of exchanging ideas. If you're open to it, I'd appreciate the opportunity to connect and chat more about your work.

Hi!

I read your info and I’m very interested in being your mentee. Let me introduce myself real quick with my bio:

I write smut with feelings. And feelings with smut. And sometimes just… feelings disguised as banter so sharp it could slice open your unresolved trauma.

          My specialty?
Unhinged exes, unresolved tension, and dialogue that sounds like foreplay and emotional warfare had a baby. If there’s sex, there’s subtext. If there’s laughter, there’s probably also pain. I don’t do fluff unless it’s laced with dread.

Yes, I like heavy topics. No, I don’t always treat them gently.
But I’ll make you laugh, wince, cry, and question your morals—sometimes all in the same paragraph.

          Welcome to the chaos.
Leave your emotional stability at the door.

What do you think generally, would you be interested in working with me? I’d be very happy to apply to you when the submissions open.

Thank you in advance for your time and answer,
          B

Thanks for your kind answer, that was quick! I do have an ongoing story which I’m attached to, but right now it’s more about vibes, and less about an engaging and exciting plot. I feel like I’m struggling with plot arch and plot twist(s), and I think my character development needs some improvement too. Also, english is not my first language, so occasionally (I think only rarely) my wording can be a bit weird, but overall I don’t think it’s an issue.

I think I’m kind of good at writing banter and tense dialogues, but I might be delusional so feedback on that department would also be cool.

But my main goal is to get the plot finally right.

I’ll get acquainted with the discord channel, thank you for the rec!

@girl_in_dirty_vans The submission window opens on the 23rd where we will be accepting/considering applications for any mentee hopefuls. After the window closes mentors will review all the applicant(s) and their applications to see who we feel we can best help, depending on what they are looking for and if we feel like their story is something we can help enhance or bring to life.
If you don't get accepted, don't be discouraged (I didn't get accepted my first time), you are always welcome to reapply at another session, but I strongly encourage you to read over the mentorship profile guide and join the BCM discord server and join in in the discussions there ❤️

@girl_in_dirty_vans Hi B! Thanks for reaching out :) I'm glad you found the mentorship initiative. I'm always open and willing to accept anyone who wants to work hard and wanting to better their writing craft. I see we share a common interest with mature themes. And while I do have experience and write/enjoy dark romance, I try not to glorify it or romanticize it (and it's all within Wattpad guidelines, of course ☺️)

            I do have a few questions :)
Do you have a story in mind you're wanting to work on? Or are you more in the planning stages of one?
The mentorship last for 6 weeks, so depending on what you are looking for to gain from the mentorship time can be constraint.
What are you looking for the most to get out of the mentorship?

I do recommend you join the BCM discord (link found in their Bio) there's currently an Ask-A-Mentee event going on (it lasts for 24 hours) where several past and hopeful mentees along with some of our mentors ask/answer questions about the mentorship or any writing related questions, if you're interested.
