The Wattys are here many writers are busy editing and submitting to contests. In the spirit of both and summertime, LabradorPup [Ohana Judge for poetry and short stories] and I are giving shout outs to our writers in the Ohana Awards.

Lauren's first day at the psychiatric hospital was interesting. Who do you think acted the most "interesting"? The workers are a bit cagey. Does anyone else agree? Lauren's patient Charlotte...thoughts? Who thinks Lauren should've been given a criminally insane patient on day 1? Who thinks Charlotte acts like someone you imagine would act having been declared criminally insane? Do you think she is guilty of the crime? Was she framed? Was there a mistake? @Rosie_Posie1 +Katherine - I lost track of time reading Rosie's compelling chapters of her soon-to-be Watty book contestant. Enjoy moody atmosphere's, small-town mysteries, family crisis, beginning a new job, local scandal coverup, psychiatric hospitals, mysterious patients? Oh yes, there's a mystery, suspense, and conflict. She's also a supporter of other Wattpad writers so let's show her some love. I will finish this book after I finish judging. Heads up! ✨Finished my writing for review - my hook - Yes, I had to test the 1st and the 3rd person out. I have mixed feelings but am choosing 3rd. After years of writing screenplays in the present tense, it feels wrong! Well, now I send the hook off for editing. Oh, how I wish it was 1k words vs 600-700 words. While I wait for the results, I will finish Chapter 1 and have some time for reading. If you have a book you'd like read and commented on...comment below. ✨
