සමහර විට එයා දන්නේ
          නැතුව ඇති...
          එක්කෝ දැන දැනත් නොදන්නවා 
          වගේ ඉන්නවාත් ඇති...
          මමත් උත්සාහ කරන්නේ ඒකමයි 
          දැනුනත්, නොදැනෙන ගානට ඉන්න..
          ඒත් අවාසනාවට මට කරන්න බැරි දේත් 
          ඒකම වෙනකොට,
          ඒක මගේ වැරැද්දක්ද?..
          අහිමි බව දැන දැන ඔය හිතටම 
          බැඳෙන එක ,
          උබ වෙනුවෙන්ම මග බල බලා 
          දින සති මාස ගෙවෙද්දි,
          පුදුමේ කියන්නේ මට තවමත් 
          තෙහෙට්ටුවක් නොදැනුණ එක...
          අඩුම දැන් ඇතියි කියලා වත් 
          නොහිතෙන එක...
          ඉතින් මම අසාධාරණද?
          අවසරයක් නැතුවම ඔය හිත මත්තේ 
          නහින කොට,
          මම කියලාත් මොනවා කරන්නද? 
          කියන දෙයක් නාහන මේ හිතත් ඉල්ලන්නේ 
          උබව විතරක් කොට...
          රත්තරන් මුතු මැණික් ඕනේ නෑ මට 
          උබ එකම එක වතාවක් හරි
          "සුදූ..."
          කිව්වා නම් ඇති
          මේ ඇවිලෙන හිත 
          දස දහස් වාරයක් නිවෙන්න...
