Today marks a day of being Bold, choosing messy over perfection, and choosing to move forward instead of stepping back. I have been writing since 2023, yet I have unpublished more work than I have published. The fear of failure - Knowing I could do better, should do better, and the little things that most writers fixate on. But I decided to see the Art in the becoming. Not writing to fit the social expectations and writer normalities but because it's what I feel inside. Sometimes, we as writers forget the beauty in writing. Free yourself! Today, we can learn from our mistakes. Next year, we can write better and grow, but we will never get there if we keep waiting until it is PERFECT. So, dare to be messy with me, and years later, we will have a heartfelt moment seeing where it started and where it ended up. How much more beautiful would that be? However, you will never get there if you don't try. JUST AS YOU ARE.
