          "Sabi niya kapag malakas daw ang 'kwak, kwak, kwak', ibig sabihin nasa malayo, pero kapag mahina ibig sabihin ay nasa malapit na siya."
          
          "Oh, tapos?" Ah, gusto ko na talagang bumalik sa pagkakatulog. 
          
          "Natatakot ako," niyugyog niya na naman ang mga balikat ko.
          
          "Hindi totoo ang aswang. At kung totoo man 'yan, wag kang mag-alala, bago pa siya makalapit sa'yo, nasuntok ko na siya. Kaya matulog ka na."
          
          "Yan na naman," takot talaga siya. "Humina na ang boses niya. Ibig sabihin nasa malapit na siya."
          
          Tinakpan ko ang tainga niya.
          
          "Ayan, wala ka nang naririnig kaya matulog ka na." Muli kong ipinikit ang mga mata ko.
          
          "Asahina..." Ah, kulit talaga. Akala ko ba hindi naniniwala sa mga multo, aswang. Eh bakit natatakot sa hindi niya pinaniniwalaan?

          He was on the verge of shooting Dreeblissa, but as he raised the firearm, he discovered it had exhausted its ammunition. Subsequently, he retrieved the knife situated on his pants' side and prepared to advance towards Dreeblissa. Yet, in an astonishing display of agility, Sycamira swiftly approached him with remarkable velocity.
