If you want, you can go through my reading list. I have a lot of stories on my private list (maybe like 50-65?, I don't even remember the count lol) but the ones added in the story book are pure gold. I can't even describe in words. Maybe you can try some yourself. Most of those books have sequels, so read with patience. There are different genres in the reading list, so you can always expect some twist in each story. Most of the books are guaranteed to leave you with a twisted feeling and lots of undefined emotions, but then that's what a good story is, "making us feel the sentiments of the characters and situation". I hope you give it a try, and also follow those authors whose book they are [they r some real gems]. Do give me your review of the stories you read. Maybe we can discuss the plots of stories.
