I had your story “වැල්ලෙ කුමරු” in my library for quite a long time and recently I finally started reading it. At first, I assumed it would be a typical university story like many others. But as I continued reading, I realized how wrong my assumption was.
This story carries a very bitter truth and honestly, it hurts a lot!!!! Please don’t take this as a negative review — I say this because the story touches very real parts of life. Until now, I have never come across a story that felt this painful, simply because it speaks so closely about our own realities...Even while reading, I kept wondering whether I should continue. But then I realized that sometimes we have to face reality, even when it is uncomfortable. We all enjoy living in beautiful fantasies, yet in the end we often face the harsh truths of life. Your story portrays that contrast perfectly, unlike many other stories.

As a life partner, brother, and friend, යදීශ’s character is truly remarkable❤️! His capacity to stand beside නිමේශ් through everything is beyond words. The way he supports නිමේශ් in every possible way is deeply moving❤️!
නිමේශ්’s university friends were also very understanding and formed such a supportive circle around him❤️! Especially අශාන් ප්රියංජන — despite being someone who excels in every aspect of life, with good looks, education, wealth, family background and achievements in sports, he still remains humble and full of human warmth without any pride in those advantages❤️! However, the suicidal scene involving him was quite shocking to me and honestly, that part was very difficult to read! But then again, that is the nature of real life — we must sometimes face the unexpected and painful realities!
