Asa Rhodes is a 19 years old woman and an It-Girl.
She loves attention; not because she lacks love, but because she was always praised for shining, never for needing. Her shiny smile hides her pettiness, and she's known as "The Bad Angel": she doesn't know what pity is. She learned to be loud, untouchable, and sharp, because vulnerability never seemed to earn her anything. She hates everything that starts with the letter A. Except herself.

Ace Anderson is a 21 years old man with commitment issues. He's known for his cold and quiet persona.
Doesn't mean he isn't engaging. Son of the mega rich trader, John Anderson, he grew up surrounded by expectations instead of affection, and learned early that distance was safer than attachment. He hates to be associated with his business. Has a brother named Adam, a golden retriever version.

Ace, Adam and Asa knew each other since they were babies.
They were inseparable. They were called the Triple A's... until middle school.
That's when everything fractured.
Ace and his brother turned on her without warning, and Asa learned that some bonds don't break loudly-they rot quietly.
From then on, she started hating the letter A, and everything tied to the Andersons.
By her first year of college, she thought she had finally escaped them.
She was wrong.
They were assigned to the same campus, and Asa spent a year surviving their presence, pretending the past didn't still sting.
So when summer break finally comes, she runs.
All the way to Switzerland.
A clean slate. Distance. Silence.
She believes this is where it ends.
She doesn't know yet that some people don't let go of the past-
they carry it with them.
