Here's a little bit of my life journey that no one asked for: 

When I was born, I was diagnosed with severe congenital scoliosis and a tethered spinal chord, and my parents were told I would never be able to walk, and would spend my life needing support to breathe. 


Maybe I'm stubborn, because those doctors were dead wrong about my abilities. I breathe, and I walk, and I even ski and do equestrian. Most importantly, I write. 

I had around 27 spinal surgeries in the span of 16 years, so my childhood was far from normal. I spent a lot of time socially isolated, partly due to my time in hospitals and partly due to the fact that kids are REALLY mean. This led to an obsession with fantasy, out of a need for escapism. That escapism led to fanfiction, which then led to my own original work.
