The gods placed me well when they decided to give me to my book-loving family. Sci-fi was my bread and butter from day one, and will always be my biggest love. I grew up in rural South Carolina and currently live in San Antonio, Texas, but I have lived and worked all over the world. I have been a production assistant, news videographer and editor, marketing writer, and English as a second language teacher. I regularly get my ass kicked by mother nature out on hiking trails.
