@LavenderShae One thing I've found that helps me with the transition is to write the chapter in first person (preferably the main character) and then edit it in the the third person. So I mean rewrite the chapter in the third person. Also, I would try to figure out what type of third person you would want to do. Whether it be the narrator knows everything, knows nothing (only writes what is going on in the scene), or the narrator know limited information. I tend to do the limited information narrator and have them follow around one maybe two people (if I'm feeling risky). It provides a lot of control and I believe a good start for someone who is use to writing in first person/a person just starting to write in third person in general.
