LeLibrarian - that's the name I've chosen for my avatar since I started working at an international school. 
My students call me Mister C.
My real name is quite French, though: Mr. Compeyron. It's an old name from the northern Occitanie region, a beautiful area teeming with incredible nature and world-renowned landmarks (such as the Viaduct of Millau, the highest bridge in the world), along with a multitude of castles, most of them now in ruins. 
I developed an interest in reading at a young age, starting with comics and light science fiction novels. Gradually, I delved into more challenging literary works during my French literature studies.
However, it was when I assumed the role of school librarian that I gained access to English literature, which I found highly enjoyable. Although my knowledge of the English language wasn't initially strong, I must admit that reading has tremendously improved it.
I've drawn connections between French, German, and English vocabularies, discovering a wide range of linguistic influences across languages. 
While writing came naturally to me, I recognize that my sentences were often overly long and complex. To enhance my writing, I needed to learn more.
