One of the fairies submitted "A Fairy Curse" for another award. And that's a good thing, because now we have the honor of being read by the wonderful @Mochi711
          	We are pretty excited!

Hiya! This is Raven here on behalf of the Birthday Bash Awards!

I wanted to say congratulations on securing 1st Place in the Best Ongoing category!

As you can probably imagine, I've had quite a few prizes to give out for a contest with that many people xD, but now that the contest's done and I've finally settled down a bit, I'm here to ask you about one of the prizes!

One prize is a mini interview (3-5 questions + a wrap-up question), and said interview will primarily be about the winning story, A Fairy Curse (albeit with potential questions about your profile as a whole, too).

Before I begin crafting the questions, I wanted to ask: are you okay with being interviewed by me?

This interview will be conducted asynchronously at your own pace with no time limit or min/max word count, so you can say as much or as little as you'd like. No need for private communication either; I will post a Google Doc link here on Wattpad, and then you have free reign to answer at your own pace! I'll check in after about two weeks to give a nudge and keep it on your radar, but there's no time limit at all. You also don't have to do anything right now and can save it for a different time if you are busy!

It will be published in my interview book, so you can see examples of previous interviews there!

If this sounds okay with you, I'll proceed to share a few more details about the interview and then dive into making the questions. If not, no worries at all! You'll still receive all the other prizes.

Either way, I look forward to hearing from you, and congratulations once again!

@Ravendipity Take your time! I've got two weeks of work travel coming up in June and won't be able to check in here a lot. And thank you again for the opportunity! The interview is a great motivation to polish up my profile a bit and finish the next two chapters of "The Fairies". I've been meaning to get back to writing this story for a long time (but a war got in the way, and then the ONC, and then a story idea that fit a more catastrophic mood.) The last two Fairy chapters were a bit gloomy, and I'm still trying to get back to the usual wholesome tenor of it. I'm currently rereading and doing minor editing , and then I'll finish the new chapter and try to answer your questions as soon as possible. Have a good time on Wattpad and outside of it! <3 You're really awesome!

@LemonyFrank You don't have to apologize! My mb notifs are inconsistent, so I understand on a personal level how that feels xD I didn't even get a notif for this and had to manually check ;-;.

And awh, that's heartwarming to hear. Thank you for your kind words! I'm always happy to help the community! We're all writers, and we're in this together.

I'll start making the questions and will get back to you when I finish! This process can take anywhere from two days from two weeks, so I'll keep you in the loop! If you have any questions for me about the interview process at any point, let me know and I'm happy to answer!

@Ravendipity Hi! Sorry, I've only just seen your message. I'm really happy to hear from you! The encouragement you gave me is something I still draw on today, and I really admire the work you do for the community. Of course I'd be interested in the interview. Ask away!
(Sorry again, but this message board can be quite a blind spot. I don't receive many messages, and if I do, they don't show up in my notifications.)

Okay, listen. I have this thing where I get tipsy without having had a single drink. It happens when I have a silly idea. On rare occasions, the Open Novella Contest comes along at that very moment, and then a novella might come into being.
This is not the Were-Frog idea that lives rent-free in my head (why always wolves?) nor the Mediterranean Vampires idea (why always Eastern Europe and allergic to sunlight?). - This is something else.
May I introduce to you: Adam's Apple.
"A world where croaky voices, loud sneezing, and loose change falling out of pockets are considered laughable is not a man's world. But here we are. In this world, men undergo voice breaking once a month for several days due to a cyclical decline in testosterone levels. The associated prejudices have meant that men rarely pursue public professions, with less than 20% of politicians, business leaders, or television presenters being male. Beau wants to change that. His confidence grows when he is hired as a staff member on a presidential campaign that has the historic goal of bringing the first man into the highest office. A small step for Beau, a giant leap for mankind. Little does he know that his presence will ruin everything."
