"It is a happiness to wonder; it is a happiness to dream." - Edgar Allan Poe (1809 - 1849)

The name Lenore is of Greek origin. In Greek the meaning of the name Lenore is: Light. It is also the name of the titular character of Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Lenore", printed in February 1843 in "The Pioneer", a periodical published by the poet and critic James Russell Lowell. It is also the name of the deceased lover of the protagonist in another poem by Poe, "The Raven", published in 1845 in the February issue of "The American Review".
Adler is a German surname with the meaning of "eagle". One of the best known people with the surname Adler is Irene Adler, a character created by Scottish author Arthur Conan Doyle, who makes her only appearance in the Sherlock Holmes story: "A Scandal In Bohemia", published in July 1891.

I am a writer who likes to look into the macabre and mystery genres of literature. I strive to become a published author, and have nearly finished the first draft of an original novel. I adore history, with my favourite eras being the Tudors and the Victorians, though history in general is my favourite subject. Also, I'm fascinated by psychology, and murder mysteries, so writing crime fiction set back in time in a distant era seemed a fitting hobby.

Favourite Writers: Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde and Andrew Taylor

NOTE: I am currently trying to complete my first published novel, so I may not update Wattpad very often. While I go out of my way to ensure I do have time, please respect that I do not update regularly, but I really do try my best. Thanks!

(I also have a Tumblr blog. I haven't posted much yet, but you can check it out of you want.)
