There are so many amazing writers on this platform that it’s impossible to pick just one.
13.
I’m proud that I’m still on this journey, despite the voices in my head telling me to quit. I’m proud of myself for not giving in to that.
14.
Absolutely nothing. I’m happy with my stories so far and with the community I’ve become a part of ❤️

@BurntSugarPlum. What started as just another R4R on Reddit has genuinely become one of the best connections in my Wattpad history. Not only did I love their story and writing style and always stay up to date, but they showed my story and my account just as much support and love in return. I also love that we’re from the same country. Like, eish, you get me

No writing when you can barely keep your eyes open. Sleep comes first.

I’m mostly indifferent, but I will say that self-publishing allows authors to get higher royalties, whereas online platforms usually offer lower royalties, which kind of sucks. I wish both offered equal opportunity and royalties :(
18.
Maybe a Wattpad book swipe feature, like Tinder, but instead of people you match with books based on your interests. I feel like that would help smaller writers gain more views.
19.
The internet in general is a messed up place. My advice to protect yourself is to not share too much personal information, or in some cases, any at all.
20.
AI shouldn’t be writing art. Perfect sentences mean nothing if there’s nothing human behind them.

Never be afraid to jump into an unknown genre. You might just be pleasantly surprised. “Never judge a book by its cover or genre” is what the saying should be.
7.
I most recently worked on my other book called Call Her Sir, and the story’s secret is that not all characters are completely fictional.
8.
Oop. I think I already said too much by answering the previous question a little too honestly.
9.
I started writing as early as middle school, and I started off like most young writers do. It was my escape, not only from reality but from myself sometimes too. I’d just get lost in the stories I wrote.
10.
I feel like my biggest insecurity as a writer is that, despite how much effort and time I put into my work, it will never get the recognition I want it to. Lately, I’ve been dealing with that using ice cream and exposure therapy.

First piece of advice: Never give up. Whatever you feel like writing, write it. Somewhere out there is someone who wants to read it ❤️
Second piece of advice: If you have an idea for your storyline, write it down in a notebook or notes app, even if it’s for way later in the story. Over time you’ll have what I like to call writer’s block aid.
Third piece of advice: Creating character sheets for your characters is always helpful.
