I started a new year of school today and in the middle of the year, i'll be picking the subjects that I will do in year 10 for GCSE exams in year 11
@GIYUU_SAAN ohh, for us, we don't do entrance exams to do GCSE, we basically, you do ur end of year exams in summer, they will check math, science and english, and for math, the math teacher decides if u do higher level or foundation math, foundation is lower level, for the other two subjects, they will decide which sets you will be in for Year 10, set one is the highest level, so if u wanna reach that, u have to get at least a grade 8 or 9, so basically, A+ or in my country, an A* (The A with asterics mean A star) and yeah, you will do the other subjects u have chosen to do when u get to year 10!
@LisaAIHOSHINO Im from sweden. soo the igcse are optional and you can chose the subjects. Normally they are done in 8 or ninth grade but my math and english teachers told me that i could opt for the subjects this year! I'm half excited and nervous lol i have the entrance exam tomorrow for the english! If i dont pass this one, i wont get to do the igcse exam. Simple as that! I hope I do well lmao!
